Q2: Is this cable still in production / available? modern equivalent cable that meets the same spec (20 AWG twinax, foil+braid shield, characteristic impedance ~78 Ω etc). Q3: Can I use this cable for any data network (e.g., Ethernet)? Ethernet twisted-pair or 50/75 Ω for coax) and the network protocol (DH / DH+) is specific. Use only in the context of the supported network. For other uses you’d want to match impedance, shielding, and signalling requirements.
